An IIttala Oiva Toikka Birds Rocky Kiwi limited edition glass bird with original box. Height 7 inches, length 7.5 inches. Signed to base’O. Toikka Nuutajarvi 542/5000′, with Iittala label to base. Condition Item is in good condition. Box is in good overall condition with some minor creases with light wear and a small tape mark to one corner. FROM MADEIRA WITH LOVE…. Vintage hand blown art glass bird figurine, made in Finland, labeled as illustrated, “iittala”. Signed “O Toikka, Nuutajarvi”. This would be from a limited edition launched in 1997. This example has survived prior display free of chips, cracks or repairs. The bird has a crystal clear head with an opaque greenish earthy tone iridescent body. Finished with pulled white rings or veins. It stands 12.5cm (5″) tall and measures 16cm (6 1/2″) end to end. I inserted a standard size playing card in one photo for size referrence.
