Iittala Birds by Toikka Sand Butler 1050264 Brand New in Mint Box. The beloved Butler, one of the late Oiva Toikka’s most impressive designs, slips on a new soft shade for 2019: Sand. The iittala Toikka Butler was inspired by the traditional notion of a formal butler, with his shoes always polished and his demeanor always cordial. His character is far from stuffy, however; though he abides to his uniform of the classic dinner jacket with a flared out tail, he also dons stylish stripes that accentuate his proper posture from head to rounded toe. But perhaps the first feature to you’ll see when he greets you is his prominent, pointed beak, followed by the sleek tuft of hair artfully handcrafted from opalescent, mouth-blown glass. Each bird is mouth-blown in Finland by iittala’s master blowers and is signed O. Toikka IITTALA on its base to ensure authenticity.

Nuutajärvi iittala birds Oiva Toikka AMERICAN ROBIN. This is the American Robin, modeled after the Oiva Toikka Iittala bird Komatsugumi. It is a limited edition bird with “Finn Fest 2014″ engraved on the bottom. Size (Please allow for slight discrepancies due to amateur measurements). Width: 6.3 inches. Height: 3.7 inches. Depth: 3.0 inches. The orange part of the chest has a texture resembling ceramic, while the gray part of the back is created by mixing gray into transparent glass over an opaque white glass, giving it a soft, feathered look. The head is black, and the beak is a light yellow-amber color. There is a mark from the manufacturing process on the tail. There are no noticeable scratches or damages. “Finn Fest 2014″ is engraved on the bottom, and it comes with an Iittala sticker. Includes the original box.
