(29 May 1931 – 22 April 2019) was a Finnish glass designer, best known for his designs for Iittala. Impressive size and skill in this art glass bird by Oiva Toikka for iittala of Finland. The artist is known for making stunning glass sculptures of birds. This piece is an iridescent dark blue pheasant with textured swirls on its surface. In excellent vintage condition with no issues.
