Toikkas red tern is a gorgeous bird made of scarlet transparent glass. It is the most vibrant bird in Toikkas 2009 collection, which is otherwise more subdued. When illuminated by the surrounding light, it glows crimson, making it a great piece to display in a window. The birds head is made of clear glass, which gives the bird just the right amount of interest. It is a petite bird, standing only three inches high, but its bold color and robust body give it strength beyond its size.
