To celebrate Finlands 90th year of independence, Oiva Toikka designed a solid blue bird for FinnFest 2007. This tiny but powerful bird is representative of the small and lively nation of Finland. The ultramarine, hand blown bird features a soft sky blue body and stem with a clear beak and translucent dark blue tail. The Summer Stint has a limited production of only 750 birds in the United States with O. Toikka Nuutajrvi FinnFest 2007-Finland 90 years hand engraved on the bottom of each. Be sure you get yours before this bird is no longer available. Oiva Toikkas imagination and iittalas skilled Finnish glassblowers have created magical glass birds for over 30 years. Oiva is inspired by birds found all over the globe, but he makes each creation his own. 7″ L x 6-1/2″ H (17.5 x 16.5 cm). O Toikka, Nuutajärvi FinnFest 2007 Finland 90 years (hand-etched). Limited edition of only 750 in the US. This bird no longer in production.
