Very Nice Signed Iittala Glass Sculpture by Oiva Toikka. In production since 1998, The Dipper by Finnish artist Oiva Toikka is a wonderfully simple bird. The Dipper has a round, full body and appears to be moving forward due to the angle this bird rests. A white breast and black body support a black head and beak. The base has the original “Iittala Finland” sticker and the “Toikka, Nuutajarvi” mark. All of the Toikka birds are highly collected, individually made, mouth-blown pieces of art. Each bird is handmade at Iittala’s famous glassworks in Nuutajarvi, Finland and carries a mark authenticity. This measures 3 1/4. ” High x 5 3/4″ Wide at the widest point.
