Iittala Birds by Oiva Toikka Seville Orange made in Finland
Finnish design legend Oiva Toikkas iconic collection of Iittala glass birds took flight in 1972. Combining his passion for nature and blown glass art, each bird is unique down to the minute detail. This gives every bird its own personality making it a truly one-of-a-kind art object. Mouthblown at the Iittala Glass Factory, the collection embodies a rich fusion of glassmaking traditions and Toikkas hands-on-approach with his team. Birds by Toikka Kuulas uses a monochromatic Seville orange coloured glass to showcase the birds adorable, plump body. Its flat paddle tail and teardrop head are made of contrasting clear.
