Nuutajarvi Glass from Finland lovely Bird designed by Oiva Toikka (later produced by Iittala); green lustrous finish to the glass. The Bird measures just under 2.5″ long and 1.75″ high. The Bird is in very good condition with no damage or repairs. It is signed’O V Nuutajarvi’ and has it’s original label. UK buyers can also pay by Cheque or Postal order. This is a Baby Crow (Variksenpoika, in Finnish or Kleine Krähe, in German) from the Birds by Toikka Collection. This specific design was produced only in the period between 1991 and 1997 (according to the Birds by Toikka book – Werner Söderström Osakeytiö – Helsinki – 2008 – page 32). The body is jet black with a bronzey, coppery, ombré collar. The head and beak are also black. The bird is signed on the base O. Toikka Nuutajärvi and has the characteristic Nuutajarvi sticker on the side. It is a first class bird. No chips, cracks, restoration or other flaws. Height: 55 mm/ 2.2′. Length: 145 mm/ 5.7′.
