Timo Sarpaneva Iittala rare 1950s green Bird Bottle Lintupullo art glass
Classic Timo Sarpaneva large bird bottle from Finland. Hand blown thin glass. Original i-color green early production signed 1957 first production year. Signature “Timo Sarpaneva Iittala -57″. Lintupullo is a Finnish name for the Bird bottle. Designed by Timo Sarpaneva in 1956 and manufactured in Iittala Glass Factory until 1968. Has some water stains as in light gray circles inside the bottle mostly in the bottom part. So she is not the cleanest one I’ve seen but also far from worst. Excellent addition to your collections as the blumber shape, rare color and higher strong shoulders are sign of the earliest production. Stands approx 20 cm tall. I post world wide and wrap with care. All my items are insured for lost or broken I’m happy to answer all your questions.

Timo Sarpaneva Iittala set of three beautiful 1950s bird bottle Lintupullo
Timo Sarpaneva hand blown signed art glass bird bottle from Iittala Finland. Lintupullo is the Finnish name for the Bird bottle. Designed in 1956 and manufactured in Iittala Glass Factory until 1968. My set comes in three different colors: Blue, purple and gray (gray is mixed with purple color so it has a purple tint). I have owned many bird bottles. The problem with these is finding ones without grayness (water stains). Sometimes it’s cleanable and sometimes it’s already in the state of glass sickness. There might be small normal signs of use but the bottle is free from grayness, no defects and they have wonderful shape and lovely colors. All bottles are signed. Blue and purple are signed “Timo Sarpaneva 2500″ and gray is signed “Timo Sarpaneva Iittala -57″. The difference in the signing style comes from the manufacturing era. The ones signed with product number “2500” are from late 1950s to early 1960s. Bottles stand approx 20 cm tall. I post world wide and wrap with care. All my items are insured for lost or broken I’m happy to answer all your questions.
